Inspiration for a Rainy Monday

The rain has been going at it for three days. It has to stop at some point. I keep thinking the weather is going to improve. It has too, right?

My Happy Place for the Week: A Sunny Window

Wow, how French is this? I'd like to be a cat curled up in this window. Winter makes the sun shining through the windows seem like a treat. I can almost feel the warmth looking at this photo. This week finds me seeking the warm spots.

Grey Mondays Need a Happy place

Mondays are hard and even harder when it is grey and threatening rain.so off to the Italian coast and a dose of sun. I chose this happy spot in honor of almost finishing Beautiful Ruins. I'm on the last chapter and have devised to save it for the ride home this evening or bedtime.

I'd Rather Be in Bed

That about sums it up this morning. I'm not a huge fan of mugs with messages on them, but the one pictured  in the background, pretty much captures how I feel in the morning when I make my coffee.

As for the two baby burrowing owls, I think they have the right idea, but where would I find a tea cup big enough to to hide in? You can get the full story of these two feathered friends here.

Monday Inspiration: A Little Patch of Our Garden

Monday always requires more effort on my part. Leaving the weekend behind is hard, especially knowing I may be working this upcoming Saturday and Sunday.

This weekend we bought some plants for the garden, but the threat of really cold weather kept us from planting them. So the garden's progress is on hold for now and I'll have to be content with this little patch in our rock garden that's in bloom.

Inspiration for Monday

This photo from the awesome blog I Heart You made my day. Well it's still early yet. We'll see. At least it made my mini lunch break more amusing and provided some inspiration for the rest of the day. Believe!
