Daffodils on the Verge

Our daffodils are just on the verge of blooming. I think back to previous years and the daffodils and the forsythia were already out and present in our Easter photos. The Easter Bunny hopped away over a week ago and we are still waiting on these cheering yellows to break through the gray.

Someday I want to have a field of daffodils like the one pictured in this from Jasper Conran's book Country.

Jasper Conran's Country

I think I could be happy living in the pages of Jasper Conran's new book Country. I'm looking forward to getting a chance to browse through a copy of the book, even if it's only in the book store. Although, I suspect I'll be tempted to break the bank and take a copy home. It's looks like a book one could sink into a comfy chair with and get happily lost in.
