I'm really taken by the humor and pure fun of Flederhaus, a public work by Heri & Salli for the city of Vienna. A perfectly playful space for the city that brought the world Die Fledermaus.
The current economy seems so dire and restrictive with no room for play or humor. This piece of public art is a perfect reminder that life should be fun and funny, that there's a need for repose and that art makes life better.
